Please install the 64bit version only
if you are running Outlook 2010, 64bit (or newer). If you are
running any 32bit version of Outlook, OLfolders must also be
32bit.
Setup will complain with error message 3 if
the version or bitness is incorrect.

Installation
|
|
The OLfolders PE installation
must be executed at the server and at
all clients. You probably want to store
the download on a network drive. At
the server computer, start "OLfoldersServer"
from the start menu. At each client
you find a new menu item in Outlook,
which allows you to connect to the server:
Tools/OLfolders/Connect to server.

Attention:
OLfolders PE will not be able to connect,
if it is blocked by a firewall!

Installation on Outlook 2010 (Beta)
|
|
Because Outlook 2010 does no
longer have a menu but a ribbon bar, it is currently not
possible to add the data file with tools/Olfolders/Connect
to server. However the data file can be added with
Control Panel/Mail.
An update for the ribbon bar is in work. |

OLfolders allows connection of clients
without any license code but will restrict
the view of every folder to 25 elements,
you see only 25 emails, 25 contacts,
25 tasks, 25 appointments etc. The calendar
may appear empty on some systems if
no license is installed.

code, you can use OLfolders or OLfolders
PE without restriction with all workstations
connected. Please enter the code in
Help/Licenses.

in our Online-Shop.
You will receive a confirmation mail
within a few minutes and your license
key in a separate email.
Please remember that you do not need
to re-install the application, registration
is done by entering the license code
into in a separate email.

Program update
|
|
You can, at any time update your program
version to the newest version available
by downloading a new evaluation version.
If you already purchased a license code,
the new evaluation version will turn
itself into the fully working version
after installation. Updates are only
necessary on the server, clients will
download the new DLLs from the server
automatically.
